A Note From Your Principals

Thank you for another great week at Herff! We will be having some exciting events coming up in September, so keep an eye on our newsletters and website for all the information! Additionally, on September 18, BISD has a designated Parent/Teacher Conference day. There will not be school for our students; instead, teachers will provide information on scheduling conferences for that day.

Esperanza HOA asked us to send a reminder that there is no parking in the El Prado pod of the neighborhood. You are welcome to drive through the top lot or meet your students while walking.

We are starting a new tradition this school year to highlight our amazing team at Herff. Every week, a new Hawk Star of the Week will be chosen based on the wonderful things they do for our staff, students, and community. This week, our Hawk Stars are Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Rice!

Love Your Principals,

Hawk Call of the Week

I love the work at Herff. My favorite subject is Reading because I love to read. I read a Humphrey book this week for fun! This week I learned about sequencing events with Mrs. Harris. I'm excited about writing essays with her too. I got a ton of books at the library this week. I can't wait until the book fair this year!
