A Note From Your Principals

What a fantastic, fun-filled short week we have had! Even though our time together was brief, our campus was buzzing with energy, learning, and laughter. We love the unique rhythm of these shorter weeks, and our students did an incredible job staying focused and making the most of every single day.

A massive shout-out goes to our oldest students who participated in the Boerne Outdoor Academy! They represented our school beautifully, diving into hands-on science, team-building, and outdoor exploration. We are so proud of the grit, curiosity, and leadership they showed while learning in nature. Thank you to our amazing staff and parent volunteers who made this unforgettable experience possible.

Looking ahead, we have a calendar packed with community fun and student celebrations. Please mark your calendars for these exciting upcoming events:
  • Donuts with Grown-Ups: Join us for a sweet morning start! Students are invited to bring their favorite grown-up (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or family friend) to share a donut and kick off the day together on Friday, October 23.
  • 9-Weeks Attendance Incentive: Every day counts! We are winding down our first nine weeks, and we can’t wait to celebrate the students who have shown incredible dedication to being at school on time, every day.

Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and enthusiasm. We truly have the best school community! Enjoy the upcoming weekend, and we will see everyone back on Monday, ready for another great week of learning.

Love Your Principals,
Jennifer Hammond and Becca Resop

Hawk Call of the Week

Our favorite activities at BOA were kayaking, hiking, and the egg drop. The food was really good, and we loved sleeping in the cabins. Our student leaders were amazing, nice, and maybe a little crazy. They made the trip so much more fun. We played so many games with student leaders that we can still play at recess. What we really learned at BOA was the importance of teamwork and making great friends.
